What is The Coffee Project ?
All the coffees that we provide at The Coffee Project are derived from single farms throughout the world, called micro-lot coffee beans. The unique aromas and tastes are a result of the special characteristics and composition of the soils in which coffee beans are grown. Brazil? Colombia? YOU choose the origin of your coffee.
Using our acquired knowledge in high quality coffee and our passion for excellence, we offer only specialty coffee. According to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), coffee which scores 80 points or above on a 100-point scale is graded “specialty.” Specialty coffees are grown in special and ideal climates and are distinctive, because of their full cup taste and zero tolerance to defects. Specialty coffee has a market share of 10% global production, with the rest being commercial grade coffee.
The term “the 3rd wave of coffee” refers to a whole new culture of coffee experience. All over the world we notice an increasing coffee quality, more single origin taste with all its complexity and innovative brewing methods. Here at TCP we are on the wave! We focus on the highest quality green coffee beans, roasted to their ultimate potential. Light roast ensures preservation of the original taste of the beans and enables you to appreciate the individual taste of every coffee type.
Our concept at The Coffee Project is to offer you the best coffee in town!! Simple as that. How we do that? By offering you single-origin, light-roasted specialty coffee. Why? Because, in our opinion, that’s the best you can get out of this magic plant, called coffee.
Honestly, we are geeks with our coffees and we don’t want you to leave without having the best experience… Meaning your beverage to be prepared in a timely manner, having used only the highest quality beans and all this at the lowest possible price.
We believe that coffee is a human right, hence every human being should have the right to access it! That’s why we try to keep our prices low so everyone can afford it. Remember that the sourcing of specialty coffee beans is not cheap…Think that most of the coffee cherries are hand-picked from the trees, in not so friendly conditions!
At The Coffee Project you can always choose one of our single origin beans to match your perfect coffee
